Big Bobs Rockhouse shafted!

Bob who runs the rock n roll club in Bletchley had a torrid time on the
13th June! Only 65 people turned up for his first Alldayer with Slip Slim and The
Sliders headlining.
 
We at the King Creole would like to express our sympathies to Bob as he
worked very
hard on this gig just as we did last year at our first Alldayer.

Bob ran into the same problem that we did - it seems that a promoter in
this area likes to
spread rumours that gigs or Alldayers that might turn out to be rivals
to him have been
called off or bands that are booked to play won't be turning up. Well my
friend we have
your number now and we will make sre that those in the Rock n Roll
community know who you are.

Club robbed of takings - December 6th 2008

As most people now know when we had Matchbox on December 6^th someone decided to steal our takings - as you can imagine this was devestating.

This was in excess of £1,650 but both bands were still paid on the night – we would like to personally thank all those who helped raise over £400 which helped us pay both bands on the night.

We would also like to thank all of those that have supported us throughout this difficult time.

The police currently still have our cashbox as they are keeping if for further forensic tests - lets hope they catch this person.

Once again, we would just like to thank everyone for supporting us at such a difficult time!

This will only make our club stronger and we will make this year even better with your support.

We will keep everyone updated with any further information the club recieve with regards to this situation via this web page.
